The Taiwan-based Pinnacle Technology Corporation has tied up with printing ink major ESY India for marketing POS printers and solutions in India. The joint venture would also launch two models of ESY-Aclas POS printers with 150 and 250 mm speed. 

V.P. Sajeevan, CEO, ESY India, told presspersons here that the Indian POS market was growing at a CAGR of 22 per cent and, of this, thermal printers were in high demand. The market was dominated by a few big brands. With a five-lakh customer base and the superior quality and features of ESY-Aclas products, he said, ESY India was looking at garnering 15 per cent growth in sales before the second half of 2016.

The company is also aiming to become a No:1 POS brand in Kerala by 2017, given the growth potential of POS in the State following the mushrooming of merchandise establishments in the recent period, he added.
