The board of directors of Atul Auto will consider sub-division of the company’s equity shares of face value ₹10 each into a lower denomination. Traders and shareholders would be keen to know the ratio, as the stock rallied about 80 per cent this year and currently hovers around ₹530. While promoters hold 55.07 per cent stake in the company, retail shareholders control 27.76 per cent stake. The stock split could infuse liquidity into the stock, making them more affordable for traders.
