Edible oils market ruled flat on Friday in absence of demand led by drop in domestic and overseas futures markets. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, groundnut and sunflower oil rose by ₹5/10 kg each. Soyabean refined oil increased by ₹3. Palmolein and rapeseed oil lost ₹3 each.Vikram Global Commodities (P) Ltd, Chennai, quoted ₹520/10 kg for September delivery of Malaysian super palmolein.
Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹515-517, super palmolein ₹547 and soyabean refined oil ₹615. Ruchi was quoting palmolein at ₹515, soyabean refined oil ₹605and sunflower refined oil ₹610. Allana’s rated were: palmolein ₹520, super palmolein ₹545, soyabean refined oil ₹615 and sunflower oil ₹620.
In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil Telia was flat at ₹1,195 and loose (10 kg) at ₹760. BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 790 (790), soya refined oil 608 (605), sunflower exp. ref. 575 (570), sunflower ref. 620 (615), rapeseed ref. oil 730 (733), rapeseed expeller ref. 700 (703) cottonseed ref. oil 640 (640) and palmolein 510 (513).
