Edible oils prices continued to decline on Monday tracking a sharp drop in futures markets amid slack physical demand. Malaysian palm oil and domestic soya oil futures extended loss on expectation of higher production. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, palmolein lost ₹2. Cotton and rapeseed oil dropped by ₹5/10 kg each. Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹530, super palmolein ₹550 and soyabean refined oil ₹620 for September. Ruchi was quoting palmolein for ₹535, soyabean refined oil ₹615 and sunflower refined oil ₹615. Allana traded palmolein for ₹527, super palmolein ₹552, soyabean refined oil ₹615 and sunflower oil ₹613.
In Saurashtra – Rajkot, groundnut Telia tin was steady at ₹1,195 and loose (10 kg) at ₹760.
