Pepper markets, both spot and futures, remained steady on limited activities. Arrivals continued to stay squeezed. Exporters who have made forward sales were covering. On the terminal market, 10 tonnes were traded at ₹711-715 a kg. Spot prices remained unchanged at ₹69,900 (ungarbled) and ₹72,900 (garbled) a quintal. July, August and September contracts on the IPSTA were steady at ₹72,000, ₹71,000 and ₹69,000. Export prices were at $11,000 a tonne c&f for Europe and $11,250 for the US.
