Edible oils witnessed a weak trend tracking bearish futures amid slack demand. On the BCE, palmolein lost ₹8 for 10 kg and groundnut oil gained ₹10. Volume remained low as stockists stayed away from fresh buys.Local refineries kept their rates steady. Liberty: Palmolein ex JNPT ₹621, Super palmolein ₹646. Allana: Palmolein Ex Khapoli ₹620, Soya refined oil ₹680, Sunflower refined oil ₹700 up to October. Ruchi : Palmolein ₹600, Soyabean refined oil ₹675, Sunflower refined oil ₹695. At Rajkot, groundnut oil rose to ₹1,270 (1,250) for telia tin and loose (10 kg) was at ₹780 (765). BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 820 (810), soya ref 670 (665), sunflower exp. ref. 635 (635), sunflower ref. 695 (695), rapeseed ref 780 (790), rapeseed exp. ref. 750 (760), cottonseed ref. 675 (675) and palmolein 592 (600).
