Public sector banks made rapid gains by close of trading on the NSE on Wednesday. At 3.50 p.m. Bank of Baroda was the top gainer. It spiked up 6.29 per cent to trade at Rs 613.05 as against its overnight close of Rs 576.75.
Punjab National Bank was up 4.60 per cent at Rs 591.85, as against its earlier close of Rs 565.80.
DLF built gains of 3.50 per cent by close to trade at Rs 144.75 as against Rs 139.85 at close yesterday.
IDFC was trading up 3.22 per cent at Rs 102.70 as against Rs 99.50 at close on Tuesday.
ACC was quoting at Rs 1,167.30, up 3 per cent on its overnight close of Rs 1,133.35.
