FMCG majors Hind Unilever and ITC traded firm on the BSE on Wednesday. At 2.35 pm Hind Unilever held gains of 2.31 per cent at ₹717.15 as against ₹700.95 at close on Tuesday.
ITC was trading at ₹354.50, up 2.16 per cent on its previous close at ₹347.
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries rose 2.06 per cent to trade at ₹800.05. The stock had ended the previous session at ₹783.90.
HDFC built up gains of 1.48 per cent at ₹1,132.25 as against the overnight close at ₹1,115.75.
Sesa Sterlite rode up 1.37 per cent at ₹281.70. The stock had ended the previous session at ₹277.90.
