Extending yesterday’s firm trend on the bourses, pharma stocks were predominant gainers on the BSE on Tuesday as well. Dr Reddy's and Sun Pharma traded firm but were off their morning highs in late trading.
At 3 pm Dr Reddy’s was quoting at ₹3,016.15 as against ₹2,976.70 at close on Monday. This represented a gain of 1.33 per cent.
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries trimmed some gains to quote at ₹800. This represented a gain of 0.57 per cent as against ₹795.45 at close yesterday.
Bharti Airtel held steady to keep gains of 0.62 per cent at ₹414. The stock had ended the overnight session at ₹411.45.
Infosys gained 0.56 per cent to quote at ₹3,663.20 as against ₹3,642.95 at close yesterday.
Hindustan Unilever was up 0.51 per cent at ₹758.65. The stock had ended the previous session at ₹754.80.
