Auto stocks maintained their firm undertone to build on their early gains in late trading on the BSE on Monday. At 2.10 pm Tata Motors remained the top gainer. It was up 3.87 per cent at ₹539.10 as against ₹519 at close on Friday.
ONGC sailed up to hold gains of 2.56 per cent at ₹415.35. The share had closed the previous session at ₹405.
ITC also edged up to quote at ₹367.85 as against ₹359.45 at close in the previous week. This represented a gain of 2.34 per cent.
Hero MotoCorp spurted up to trade at ₹2,993.65 as against ₹2,951.05 at close last week. This was a gain of 1.44 per cent.
ICICI Bank rode up 1.06 per cent at ₹1,587.10 as against ₹1,570.45 at close on Friday.
