ONGC was the top gainer on the bourses on Monday. The share held on to its firm undertone to extend its morning gains in late trading on the NSE. At 3.10 pm it held gains of 7.98 per cent to quote at Rs 328.25 as against its previous close at Rs 304.
Bajaj Auto also made further ground to hold gains of 6.89 per cent at Rs 2,083 as against Rs 1,948.65 at close on Friday.
Cipla held on to its firm sentiment to build gains of 5.94 per cent at Rs 673.8 as against Rs 636 at close last week.
M&M rode up further to hold gains of 4.83 per cent at Rs 1,200.25 as against Rs 1,145 at close last week.
HCL Technologies made rapid strides to quote at Rs 921.15. This was a gain of 4.61 per cent on its previous close at Rs 880.55 at close last week.
