Jindal Steel made rapid strides during the second half of the day to hold gains of 3.08 per cent at the close. At 3.40 pm it was trading at ₹244.20 on the NSE. The stock had closed Tuesday’s session at ₹236.90.
IT stock HCL Technologies moved up further to hold gains of 3.02 per cent at ₹1,649.90 as against its previous close at ₹1,601.60.
IndusInd Bank was trading at ₹577.40 as against its overnight close at ₹562.40. This was a gain of 2.67 per cent.
ONGC made further ground to hold gains of 2.43 per cent at ₹428.15. The stock ended yesterday’s session at ₹418.
ICICI Bank traded up 2.14 per cent at ₹1,540.30. The stock had ended yesterday’s session at ₹1,508.05.
