Public sector bank scrips led the pack on the NSE on Monday morning. At 11.29 am Bank of Baroda was the top gainer on the bourse, trading at Rs 188.65. This represented a gain of 6.28 per cent on its Friday close at Rs 177.50.
State Bank of India rallied 4.20 per cent to trade at Rs 281.40 against Rs 270.05 at close previously.
Punjab National Bank gained 4.11 per cent to quote at Rs 157.20 against Rs 151 at close last week.
Maruti Suzuki rode up 2.41 per cent to trade at Rs 4,436 versus Rs 4,331.45 at close on Friday.
Tata Motors moved up 2.37 per cent to quote at Rs 392.95 against Rs 383.85 at close previously.
