ONGC emerged the top gainer on the BSE in late trading on Thursday. At 3.25 pm it held gains of 3 per cent at ₹379.65. The stock had closed the previous session at ₹368.60.
Tata Power charged up 2.89 per cent to trade at ₹87.20 as against ₹84.75 at close on Wednesday.
NTPC held on to most of its morning gains ahead of the close. In late session it was quoting at ₹129.10, up 2.83 per cent on its previous close of ₹125.55.
HDFC gained 2.22 per cent to trade at ₹908 as against ₹888.30 at close yesterday.
GAIL (India) was up 2.01 per cent at ₹403.35. It had closed Wednesday’s session at ₹395.40.
