Shares of Adani Enterprises may come under pressure as the Competition Commission of India has imposed a penalty of ₹25.67 crore on Adani Gas, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, for abusing its dominant position. The penalty is four per cent of the average turnover of Adani Gas for the past three financial years. The competition watchdog has also asked the company to modify its gas supply agreements with its customers with immediate effect.
