Shree Cement has secured a bid for 80,000 tonnes of coal annually for its Chhattisgarh unit from Coal India arm South Eastern Coalfields. The Grade 11 coal was auctioned last month as part of the government’s efforts to auction coal linkages for the non-regulated sector, in different phases. The company, in a post-market-hours release to the exchanges, said the notified price it received for the coal linkage was ₹970 a tonne.
