Sun Pharmaceutical Industries maintained its firm undertone on the BSE to make further ground by late session on Wednesday. At 2.40 p.m. the stock held gains of 4.08 per cent to trade at Rs 604 as against its earlier close of Rs 580.35.
Hero MotoCorp built on its morning gains to trade at Rs 2,063.05 near the close as against Rs 2,018 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 2.23 per cent.
ITC advanced to hold gains of 2.11 per cent. It was trading at Rs 340.80 as against Rs 333.75 at close on Tuesday.
Coal India moved up 1.74 per cent to trade at Rs 260 as against its overnight finish of Rs 255.55, representing a gain of 1.74 per cent.
Tata Power charged up 1.52 per cent to trade at Rs 83.45 as against Rs 82.20 at close on Tuesday.
