Sutlej Textiles and Industries on Wednesday announced the expansion of operations at one of its units -- Damanganga Home Textiles, (Daheli, Gujarat) at a cost of ₹88.50 crore. The project will be implemented in FY15-16. The expansion will result in increasing its capacities in the existing facility to 9.6 million metres annually from 2.5 million metres. The company also decided to close the operations of one of its units, Damanganga Fabrics (Daheli, Gujarat) in view of its uneconomic working. Shares of Sutlej Textiles closed at ₹381, down 1.22 per cent over the previous day’s close on the NSE.
