ITC emerged the top gainer on the bourses ahead of the close on Wednesday. At 3.34 pm the stock was quoting at ₹346.05, up 1.50 per cent on its previous close of ₹340.95.
Tata Steel made rapid strides in late trading to quote at ₹413.70. This represented a gain of 1.11 per cent on its previous close of ₹409.15.
Lupin perked up to trade at ₹952.70, a gain of 1.11 per cent on its previous close of ₹942.25.
Hindalco Industries edged lower by the close. It held gains of 1.04 per cent at ₹135.45. The stock closed the previous session at ₹134.05.
IndusInd Bank was quoting at ₹487.15. The stock was up 0.81 per cent on Tuesday’s close of ₹483.25.
