Cipla extended its morning gains to head the pack on the BSE ahead of the close on Thursday. At 3.05 pm it held gains of 1.85 per cent at ₹456. The stock was quoting at ₹447.70 at close yesterday.
The pharma company today announced that it had entered into a commercial deal with US-based BioQuiddity Inc for sale of its anaesthetic applications in the EU.
Tata Steel shed some of its early gains to edge lower in late trading. It was quoting at ₹553.35. This represented a gain of 1.55 per cent on its previous close at ₹544.90.
Coal India spiked up 1.10 per cent at ₹371.20 as against ₹367.15 at the close on Wednesday.
GAIL (India) gained 0.42 per cent to trade at ₹434.95. The stock was quoting at ₹433.15 at the close yesterday.
Infosys was up 0.19 per cent at ₹3,374.50 as against ₹3,368.05 at the close on Wednesday.
