The Adani Group has denied all allegations levelled against it by activist Arvind Kejriwal and his Aam Aadmi Party associates, saying that the group has abided by the laws of the land and has sought no undue favours.

In a statement here, the Adanis, referring to the claims made by Kejriwal, said the land for Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Mundra in Gujarat was allotted following the process of law.

The allegation related to coal supply by the state-promoted Gujarat Minerals Development Corporation (GMDC) is also baseless. “Till date we have not received any coal from GMDC,” the group said.

These “baseless allegations” seem to be motivated and lack deeper understanding of the matter. They do not merit further response.”
