Dilip Chenoy has resigned as Managing Director and CEO of the National Skill Development Corporation with immediate effect citing personal reasons.
Chief Operating Officer Atul Bhatnagar has also quit, but will continue to look after NSDC’s operations till a replacement is in place, according to an official.
“…as the organisation prepares to enter its next phase of growth, Dilip has decided to step down from this position. He and Atul Bhatnagar have submitted their resignations to the board, which have been accepted at the board meeting today (Tuesday),” an NSDC statement NSDC said.
In a statement, Chenoy said: “My journey with NSDC has been deeply satisfying and a learning experience. I can say with humility today that with the support of our partners and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship we have set the foundation for a strong skills eco-system in the country.”
