The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Zaporizhya Chamber of Commerce concluded a joint cooperation agreement to establish trade and economic times.
This emerged at the end of an interactive meeting the trade body had with Deputy Head of Zaporizhya Regional State Administration Goncharuk Petro and Deputy Ambassador of Ukraine Embassy Oleksii Stepanov here today.
Stepanov said Ukraine was looking for stronger regional cooperation with the Indian Government and industrialists to strengthen the bilateral trade between the two countries.
Indo-Ukraine bilateral trade has been very strong, contributing more than $ 58 million in Zaporozhye region in import and export.
Devendra Surana, President of Fapcci, said there was tremendous scope for cooperation in the areas of mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, light industry, mining and steel sectors between the two countries.
