Jet Airways has joined its peers Spicejet, GoAir and Indigo in offering discounts on base fares for advance bookings.
“We are pleased to offer a 3-day sale of special 60 and 30 days promotional apex fares on 9W (Jet) & S2 (JetKonnect) domestic flights,” Jet said in a note to travel agents.
Date changes and refunds would be permitted under the promotional airfare, the company said.
However, it neither gave out the quantum of discounts or the specific routes where it would be applicable.
Yesterday, SpiceJet announced as part of its 'Super Sale Summer Offer', offers up to 75 per cent discount on travel between April 1 and June 30. This is the third time SpiceJet is offering tickets at discounted prices in the last one month.
Following SpiceJet's announcement, its rivals GoAir and IndiGo followed suit and announced sale offers late in the evening.
