A three-day conference on ‘migration, development and society’ will begin a Farook College near Kozhikode on Friday.
Amit Shovon Ray, Director of Centre for Development Studies, Thiruvananthapuram, will open the conference, which will mark the second anniversary of Kerala Economic Association. Eminent economists, development scholars and migrant researchers will speak at the three-day conference. S Irudaya Rajan, professor at CDS and a pioneering researcher on Gulf migration, who is the current president of the Kerala Economic Association, will chair one of the sessions.
