BEML Ltd, a defence public sector, organised a ‘Clean-Drive’ and awareness programme at Brindavan Gardens (Krishnarajasagar or KRS) near Mysuru.
The ‘Clean-Drive’ programme was organised as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. Deepak Kumar Hota, Chairman and Managing Director, led his company executives in the initiative at Brindavan Gardens.
As part of the programme, BEML employees presented a skit on the theme of cleanliness. Hota, referring to the saying ‘Cleanliness is next to Godliness’ said “A clean environment promotes clean habits and clean habits shape a clean man, guaranteeing good health, all-round development and peace around us.”
A large gathering at the Brindavan Gardens watched the skit organised by BEML in association with Cauvery Neeravari Nigam Ltd.
BEML has been a supporter of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan programmes including cleaning localities, adopting villages, constructing toilets in schools/ villages, conducting awareness programmes and providing cleaning logistics.
