Coimbatore chapter of NIPM (National Institute of Personnel Management) is hosting the annual conference of the institute this year at Hotel Le Meridien on October 8, 9 and 10.
This is the 34th NIPM National Conference – Natcon 2015, but held for the first time in Coimbatore. The theme of the conference is “Winnovate HR for Business and people aspirations” – Pause, ponder, predict and prepare.
Briefing newsmen, Conference convenor P Gandhimathinathan said that the effort is aimed at marketing Coimbatore as an ideal investment destination and showcasing some of the unique HR models practised here.
Industrial tours and pre-conference tutorial on HR Analytics – an emerging subject are being planned, Muthuvelappan P, Chairman, Organising Committee said.
Yet another session “Enterprising, acting and being human” – a jugalbandhi of reflections of life is also planned. This session is to be addressed by Raja Krishnamoorthy, Cine Director and Management Consultant and Arvind Swami, actor and Management Director, Talent Maximus India Pvt Ltd.
About 500 delegates, including HR heads, senior managers and business leaders from India and abroad, are expected to attend this event.
