The Hyderabad Software Exporters’ Association (HYSEA) is holding its annual SME Summit on July 6 here.
“The SMEs are facing a host of challenges that includes access to capital, competition, cost overheads, limited resources, taxation and regulation,” Ranga Pothula, President of HYSEA, said.
“Small and medium enterprises play an important role in the growth of IT industry in the State. They account for about 10 per cent of ₹68,000-crore exports from the State last year,” he said.
“The theme of the summit is ‘Insights to Grow’. It will provide a platform to small and medium enterprises in the IT industry to discuss challenges and opportunities in a variety of industry verticals,” he said in a statement on Wednesday.
The day-long conference will focus on the unfolding opportunities for IT SMEs in defence, life sciences and data sciences. It will also tell the small companies how to tap digital marketing avenues to win customer acquisitions.
