The Income-tax Department, Bengaluru, is to set up special counters to receive the returns of income from salaried employees and pensioners in Bengaluru city.
The Income-Tax Department has made arrangements at Gayatri Vihar, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru.
These special counters will remain open from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm from July 29 (Friday) to July 31 (Sunday). “These centralised counters handle the returns of income of the entire salaried class (central/state govt/ PSUs/ private sector etc) and pensioners of Bengaluru city,” said Nutan Wodeyar, Principal Chief Commissioner of Income-tax Karnataka & Goa Region, Bengaluru.
