Congress President Rahul Gandhi will begin an intensive tour of six districts of Hyderabad- Karnataka from today.
According to the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President Dr G Parameshwara, Gandhi is visiting the State for the first time after taking over as All India Congress Committee President in December and will be travelling by road in the districts of Ballari, Koppal, Raichuru, Yadgir, Kalaburagi and Bidar before flying back to Delhi.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, AICC General Secretary and State Party in-charge K C Venugopal, Congress party’s floor leader in the Lok Sabha Mallikarjuna Kharge, KPCC Campaign Committee Chairman D K Shivakumar and other senior party leaders from the State will be joining Gandhi and accompanying him in his tours in the State.
