The Congress party has promised to protect Brand Hyderabad, safeguarding the interests of all sections of people and promote it as a safe destination.
In the manifesto released for Telangana here on Saturday, the party has promised to increase the retirement age to 60 years and create one lakh jobs every year.
"We will give an assistance of Rs one lakh to each self-help group," Ponnala Lakshmaiah, President of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, said, while releasing the manifesto.
The party will set up a state advisory council with members from civil society to supervise the implementation of manifesto, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said.
