The Indian School of Business and The Indus Entrepreneurs are holding the seventh edition of the TiE-ISB Connect here on October 26 and 27. The event will see over 50 investors and mentors interacting with start-ups.

This year’s conference would focus on India Leapfrogs - Disruptive Technologies and New Business Models.

“About seven firms were funded in the past editions. We would like to have a more structured follow-up mechanism from this year onwards,” Suresh Challa, President of TiE (Hyderabad), said.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, he said technology start-up incubator T-Hub will also join the ISB and TiE in handholding the start-ups that attend the two-day conference.

The conference, slated to be held at ISB’s campus here, will have six keynotes, six panel discussions and 50 speakers from the start-up ecosystem.

“It will showcase avenues for entrepreneurs to leapfrog to explosive growth rates adopting newer technologies and latest business models in various sectors,” ISB Dean Rajendra Srivastava said.

Srivastava said the institute would focus on training the managers of incubators in order to build the ecosystem in other cities.

“The event will bring together execution experts, investors and academia to discuss strategies and business models in a digitally disrupted world. ,” Ananth Rao, Chair of TiE-ISB Connect 2016, said.
