Honda Cars India has introduced a new ‘Privilege Edition’ of its compact sedan — Honda Amaze. The limited-run Privilege Edition features a new infotainment system, enhanced exterior trim and added safety features.

The exterior of the limited edition gets stylised body graphics and the limited edition emblem. The cabin gets an upgrade with the new 17.7-cm Digipad infotainment system featuring audio, video and navigation. The new variant also gets edition themed beige seat covers and a centre arm rest for the driver. For added safety, this edition also gets rear parking sensors.

According to Honda Cars India, the new Digipad 17.7-cm Infotainment system offers a variety of new functions, including, in-built satellite linked 3D navigation, internal media memory, mirror link support for smartphone connectivity, internet access for browsing, email and live traffic via optional WiFi Receiver, voice commands for media, navigation and calling, smartphone voice assistant activation, Bluetooth for handsfree telephony and audio streaming support, AM/FM Digital Radio Tuner, MP3/WAV, iPod/iPhone compatible, and HDMI-IN port.

The new limited edition is based on the Amaze S(O) MT grade, which already has features like dual airbags, ABS (in diesel variant), power adjustable door mirrors, steering mounted controls, driver seat height adjuster, digital aircon controls, dual tone interiors etc. The Privilege edition is priced about ₹10,000 over the S(O) MT grade and is available at ₹6.49 lakh for the petrol variant and ₹7.74 lakh for the diesel engine variant (ex-showroom Delhi).
