It’s no surprise that your child can teach you a few things about your mobile phone. If she’s not preoccupied with her own device, that is. Pulp Strategy Communications finds in a study of children up to eight years old that 12 per cent of the children had smart devices of their own, and that the rest were allowed by their parents to use theirs. By the age of 8, 97 per cent of children have used a smartphone, tablet or similar device. The study says technology can enhance bonding between the brands and kids as they move from laptops and fixed devices to the mobile.
