With reference to the news item, ‘Shriram in talks with MARG to buy shopping mall’ (Business Line dated April 30, 2012) the MARG Group Vice-President and Head of Corporate Communication has stated that the property in question has been attracting investment interest. Discussion with Shriram happened to be one such and moreover, investment by PE funds in specific projects is an integral part of its business model, he has further clarified.
