DEN Networks reported a 19 per cent increase in its net profits at Rs 9.2 crore for the December 2010 quarter compared with Rs 7.7 crore in the corresponding last quarter.
The company reported a 13 per cent rise in its earnings for the quarter at Rs 268.2 crore against Rs 237.5 crore in the corresponding previous quarter.
The cable network provider said it has been preparing to take up the task of digitising its entire household base and is investing to meet infrastructural requirements for the transition.
DEN also said that it is working with new vendors for sourcing digital set top boxes at a lower price.
