Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Company Ltd (GNFC) reported an increase of 7 per cent in sales and 115 per cent in net profit for the 2010-11 fiscal, compared to the corresponding previous fiscal.
Sales were at Rs 2,845.89 crore (Rs 2,614.45 crore), profit after tax was Rs 266.53 crore (Rs 123.84 crore), Mr H.V. Patel, Managing Director, said. The board has recommended a dividend of Rs 3.25 per cent on a face value of Rs 10/share.
On Friday, GNFC shares closed 0.65 per cent up at Rs 100.60 on the BSE.
