Mr Hari Das Khunteta, Director (Finance), has taken over the additional charge as the Chairman and Managing Director, Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) Ltd. Mr Khunteta, who holds a Bachelor Degree in Commerce and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, joined REC as Director (Finance) in 2004.
In a statement, the company has said that during Mr Khunteta's tenure, REC raised about Rs 95,000 crore through a wide spectrum of instruments from domestic and international markets at competitive rates.
