The Rajahmundry asset of ONGC has achieved an all-time high oil production of 0.3038 million tonnes during 2011-12.
In terms of sale of gas produced, it recorded the highest at 1,343 mmscm (million metric standard cubic metres), according to P.K. Rao, Group General Manager- Asset Manager of the ONGC unit.
Speaking on the occasion of Independence Day at the base camp complex premises in Rajahmundry, he said the company had spent around Rs 2.3 crore towards corporate social responsibility initiatives such as laying/repair of roads and empowerment of SC/ST.
He complimented Sanjay Kumar, Chief Manager (Fire Services) who has been conferred National Award for best fire services personnel, a press release said.
