Rajoo Engineers, a manufacturer of blown film and plastic sheet extrusion, has entered into a joint venture with Bausano and Figli SPA of Italy for making pipes and profile extrusion machinery.
Bausano and Figli invented and started manufacturing twin screw extruders in 1946 and is considered as one of the most reputed pipe and profile extrusion machinery manufacturers in the world.
The joint venture company Rajoo Bausano Extrusion will make use of the indigenous raw material of Rajoo and latest technology of Bausano to tap the growing market for PVC from the agriculture and infrastructure sector, the company said.
The latest technology will help produce pipes with smooth internal surface, resulting in low energy consumption for farmers while transporting water. The patented high torque ‘Multi-Drive' system with four synchronised motors that will drive the Rajoo-Bausano extruder consumes less power and has lower maintenance costs, it said.
Besides India, Rajoo Bausano Extrusion plans to market pipe and profile lines in Africa, Gulf and SAARC region.
Currently, Rajoo has the widest range of mono and multilayer blown film lines up to seven layers, sheet lines up to five layers, water quenched downward extrusion lines up to three layers, lines for foamed film and sheets for various special applications.
