The UB Group has sought damages worth about Rs 3,200 crore from various lenders of Kingfisher Airlines.
In a note to the annual results of the carrier, the group said it is seeking damages worth Rs 3,199.68 crore from the consortium of bankers. A case has been filed in this regard with the Bombay High Court by UB Holdings, Vijay Mallya as well as Kingfisher Finvest.
The group has also sought a permanent order and injunction restraining the consortium of bankers from taking any steps to reclaim the loan given to the airline.
