Volkswagen, Europe’s leading car manufacturer, today inaugurated its second dealership, Volkswagen Deccan in Hyderabad.
With the opening of this dealership, Volkswagen now has a total of 82 dealerships across 64 cities in the country. Volkswagen Deccan will retail all Volkswagen passenger car models currently available in the country. The dealership has a capacity to display 8 cars in its showroom and hi-tech service facility well equipped with tools and equipment capable of servicing more than 40 cars per day.
Mr Neeraj Garg, Member of Board and Director Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India, inaugurated the dealership today and said: “We are confident of a very fruitful partnership and look forward to more Volkswagen enthusiasts experiencing our cars.”
Volkswagen sold 58,820 vehicles across the country from January to September 2011. It is looking at India as one of the key markets going forward. Volkswagen sells from the Fox to the Phaeton in more than 150 countries worldwide.
In India, Volkswagen offers the luxurious Phaeton, Passat, Jetta, the iconic New Beetle, the powerful SUV Touareg, the Polo and the Vento.
