After launching ‘Amazon Now’ its two-hour doorstep delivery service of daily essentials in Bengaluru this February, followed by Delhi, Mumbai in October and in Hyderabad last week, Amazon India is ready to woo customers with the launch of its first print advertising blitz in all the four metros.

The print ads are scheduled to first appear this weekend in Bengaluru and Delhi; Mumbai next weekend and Hyderabad after that. The ad showcases a large shopping basket packed to the brim with daily essentials and offers customers ₹200 cash back if they use Amazon Pay balance for an order value of over ₹999.

Delivery charges of ₹49 for two-hour deliveries and ₹29 for scheduled deliveries for order value of under ₹350 has been waived for a limited period. Amazon Now is available as a free Android app that customers have to download to start shopping.

Fruits and vegetables has become one of the biggest categories on Amazon Now, although it was introduced only in July. Customers in over 80 per cent of the pin codes in the four metros are being served with sellers in each pincode offering 700 deals.

Amazon has introduced cashless payments with Amazon Pay balance, where customers can load a lump sum into their Pay balance through internet banking and go cashless, enjoying fast and easy checkouts, quicker refunds and a secure shopping experience.
