Beardsell Ltd, provider of prefab structures, cold storages, packaging, insulation products and clean rooms, has bagged a contract worth $3.57 million (Rs 25 crore) from the Pharmaceuticals Fund and Supply Agency (PFSA), an Ethiopian government agency.
Incorporated in 1936, Beardsell is known for its QuikBuild pre fab structures and packaging products for consumer durable goods. It has seven manufacturing units across India.
Beardsell has transformed its business from being a packaging products and insulation company with a new line of prefabricated building materials over the past few years and is gearing up for the next phase of growth.
The company's QuikBuild Construction System has been growing rapidly both for home and commercial set-ups necessitating expansion. The company is targeting Rs 100 crore revenue from QuikBuild in the next two years.
Last fiscal, while packaging products had contributed about Rs 70 crore, and prefabricated building materials Rs 70 crore, the rest came from insulation and other services, according to a company statement.
