Travel firm Cox & Kings on Thursday reported a 32 per cent dip in consolidated net profit to ₹135.47 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2018 mainly due to higher expenses.
The company had posted a net profit of ₹199.14 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
The consolidated total income from operations stood at ₹1,890 crore for the quarter under consideration. It was ₹1,580.86 crore for the same period a year ago.
Total expenses of the company stood at ₹1,672 crore in the quarter against ₹1,315.20 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
Shares of Cox & Kings Thursday closed at ₹190.05 on BSE, down 0.68 per cent from the previous close.
