FujiFilm India launched its first experiential store in India — Wonder Photo Shop in Chennai today. Consumers can access the company’s latest gear from instant camera range to high-end cameras in the store. They can browse technology and tools to edit and print photos in a range of mediums like matte and forms such as cups, pillow covers or keychains. Addressing media persons here, Yasunobu Nishiyama, MD, said there is huge potential for photo imaging services in India, which has grown 10-15 per cent in the last few years driven by increasing spend on photography in weddings. The company plans to add eight more outlets across metros in the next three years. Each shop will have a investment of around ₹3 crore. The company looks to increase its sales from growing professional camera sales in India.
