Sensing the hunger for cricket and all things related to the game across the country , Godrej today launched a consumer loyalty programme for the IPL season that spans across 90 of its product categories including soaps, refrigerators, furniture and even apartments.

Godrej Power Play, the consumer connect initiative entails purchasing a Godrej product to start playing the game. For every purchase of Godrej product that the consumer makes, he or she will be assigned a cricketer and a value for that cricketer. Thereafter as the IPL progresses, Power Play will get active and the cricketer's value changes depending on his performance in each match.

Hence, the participant's chances of winning the mega prize increases by increasing the number of cricketers in his or her team (by purchasing other Godrej products) and also on how the players have been performing. If a participant is not satisfied with a particular cricketer's performance, he or she can exchange him for another cricketer based on the value given to each cricketer. Apart from weekly winners, the mega winner will get to watch an India-England match at Lord's.
