Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited (KPTL), a Mumbai-based EPC player in the power transmission and infrastructure sector, announced securing new orders worth Rs 1,057 crore, including contracts worth Rs. 913 crore for design, supply and construction of 500 kV and 225/90 kV transmission lines in Thailand and Africa and an for pipeline installation and associated terminal works of Kochi Salem Pipeline Private Limited (KSPPL), a joint venture of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and Indian Oil Corporation Limited worth Rs. 144 crore.

“These orders in Southeast Asia and Africa help in building a solid base for growth in our International business. We are confident of meeting our guidance for this year,” Manish Mohnot, Managing Director and CEO, KPTL said.

The company is specialising on design, testing, fabrication, erection and construction of power transmission lines, oil and gas infrastructure and railways projects.

The company’s annual report notes KPTL has an order book of Rs. 9,000 crore on a standalone basis and around Rs. 16,000 crore on consolidated basis. The company’s consolidated revenue stood at Rs. 7,629 crore at the end of March 2017.
