Lanco Infratech Limited has posted a loss of Rs 616.6 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2014, against a loss of Rs 529.7 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
The diversified infrastructure company's gross revenue was down 13 per cent for the third quarter at Rs 2,253.1 crore as against Rs 2,588.5 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
Lanco posted a forex loss of Rs 190.9 crore during the third quarter as against a loss of Rs 79.1 crore for the same period last year.
The company's performance was adversely hit due to lower plant load factor in power plants hit by fuel supply, lower pace of EPC project implementation and high interest rates and payments.
The company has an EPC order book of Rs 29,463.8 crore which includes internal projects.
