Laurus Labs has posted 17.5 per cent increase in net profit at ₹47.2 crore in the third quarter ended December 31, 2016, against ₹40.2 crore in the year-ago period. The total revenue grew by 12.3 per cent at ₹505 crore (₹450 crore), the company informed the BSE. According to V V Ravi Kumar, ED & Chief Financial Officer, all business segments had delivered `encouraging’ performance led by volume improvement. On Friday, the company’s scrip lost 4.37 per cent on the BSE to close at ₹535.25.
